A new inclusive coffeehouse opened Monday morning in downtown Toledo. Grindhrs Coffee & Community is an LGBTQ-friendly safe space. Toledo Pride celebrates the LGBT community this weekend with a series of events. The main attraction is a noon Saturday parade and all-afternoon festival at Promenade Park, 400 Water St. Both are free and family friendly. You Will Do Better in Drag offers a more party-like atmosphere beginning at 7 p.m. Friday in Promenade Park. Admission is $5 or $3 with a donation of cleaning supplies, school supplies, disposable plates or silverware or individually wrapped snacks. A “Big Rainbow Brunch Crawl” wraps up the weekend between 2 and 5 p.m. Sunday; Adams Street restaurants participate. This is the ninth year for Toledo Pride.
